Valentin Erikson graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Political Science. He then went on to pursue his Licentiate in Law (LL.L.) and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degrees at the University of Ottawa, Law School.

After completing his clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada and successfully passing the Bar Exam, Mr. Erikson was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2009 and has been practicing law in various capacities even since. Valentin started his legal career working at one of Canada’s largest national law firms. He was then privileged to have served Canadians for over 6 years working with two Justice Ministers as well as with the Minister of National Revenue. Being hardworking and entrepreneurial, Mr. Erikson decided to start his own law practice. He is able to provide legal services in English, French and Russian. Understanding Canadian tax system, Mr. Erikson is able to offer valuable skills to his clients who deal with family law and real estate issues.

Valentin Erikson is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association. He maintains an active involvement in the community and supports a number of organizations that promote education and positive well-being for children.

In his spare time, Valentin enjoys reading, swimming and traveling with his wife and daughter.
